About ME

Since childhood, I've harbored a deep affection for animals. From turtles to owls, canaries to fish, my love for pets and nature has remained steadfast. Beethoven, a lively Dalmatian, marked my entry into dog ownership, followed by Simon, the sweet basset hound who became the darling of our household. In the aftermath of a 2013 hurricane, I rescued my first cat, Cappuccino, igniting a newfound passion for felines. Subsequently, I welcomed Valentino, a kind Shih Tzu, into my life, whose presence inspired the inception of my business. Relocating from New York to Florida, presented me with an opportunity to apprentice with a groomer in Naples at a pet salon, uncovering a talent and learning invaluable skills and insights in the grooming industry. This experience unveiled a latent talent and deepened my bond with animals. However, it also exposed me to the darker realities of the grooming industry, where pets are often treated as commodities. Witnessing the mistreatment of animals and neglect in some establishments was profoundly distressing, prompting me to embark on a mission to prioritize compassion and care in my own business endeavors. That's when Grooming With Luv, LLC was born.
